The love test..

Florida state university recently conducted a test on 135 newly wed couples. They sat them down individually and showed them pictures of random things and then pictures of their lovers really quickly interlapping. The participants were asked to rate what they saw on a scale of "good" "satisfying" "bad" and "dissatisfying."

Participants would associate all of the pictures, no matter what they saw in different categories based on their reactions. Psychologically speaking, their answers actually told the scientists whether they were happy to have made their choice to be in a committed relationship, or whether they were very unhappy.

Participants were then contacted after 5 years, and depending on how they answered it was overly obvious that their answers predicted their future happiness.
