The fact that people do not put their kids up for adoption, and instead would leave them behind a dumpster is disgusting. On average, in the United States alone, they find around 105 babies left unwanted.

In 2010, a man in Canada was passing a dumpster near his house when he heard a baby's cries coming from a dumpster. Being a good samaritan he jumped in to rescue the child. The man's wife had not been feeling well the night before, but seemed to be better the next day- it turns out that while he was at work, his wife had given birth.

The thing is she did not even know she was pregnant. A phenomenon that happens to women all over the world, but not a reason to discard your child as such.

Police discovered that this was the 3rd child she had left to rot in a garbage- and the worst part is her husband stayed with her, allowing her to have a 4th child while she was in police custody awaiting her trial.
