Did you know that Twitter's original name was going to be the ultra creepy FRIENDSTALKER? Fortunately, the founders waved off this initially horrific name and decided to go for something else. After ponding over other names, such as "Twitch", "Jitter" and even "Twitcher", they decided to stick to "Twitter". Truthfully, anything sounds better than "Friendstalker"!
