This post might come as a surprise to you because it is completely unexpected. When the "War on Terror" started, countries from all over the world came to America's aid at fighting those they thought were responsible for the attacks on the World Trade Center.
The Canadians were on of those countries, and their first casualties came during a training exercise. American forces thought they were enemies, and an american warplane dropped a bomb on them.
Up until now, Canadian forces have lost 158 since 2002- which is actually the most since the Korean war.
