Sick and disgusting... but necessary

This disgusting looking restraining device is found in hospitals all over the world, as it is the only way to hold a child still for an X-ray. As uncomfortable as it looks, it is very helpful at finding out what is wrong with an infant. The only issue of course is that there must be a better way to X-ray children. If the arm is broken, or a rib- then this is an incredibly uncomfortable place for a child to be.
