Did you know that there is a river in Thailand that shoots fireballs?!
The Naga fireballs are also known as “bung fai paya nak” by the people of Thailands, is a unexplainable phenomena seen in Mekong river in Thailand. In this river you can see fireballs rise from the water into the air. They are usually no very big – from the size of sparkles, to the size of basketballs and are reddish in color.
These fireballs are most often observed in late October (in the night of Wan Ok Phansa). The local people say that this phenomena has been observed by their ancestors, but in earlier times nobody really payed attention to it. There is no scientific explanation for this phenomena.
