The only power plant that made it through the hurricane in Fukushima


Everyone knows the city Fukushima after the terrible hurricane ripped through it in 2011- doing more damage to the ecosystem of the Pacific ocean than anything ever witnessed by man.

When the hurricane came through the small Japanese city, it destroyed a few nuclear power stations that did not have walls high enough to protect it from the incoming waves.

All except one power station, whose engineer did not agree with bureaucrats who determined the wall height of the barriers to the power plant. In fact he said he thought they were "human trash" and built his walls 5 times higher that they said you should because he wanted to make a point.

His point was well received.
