Did You Know That A Team Of Scientist Has Discovered How To Turn Peanut Butter Into …

Peanut butter is a food paste made primarily from ground dry roasted peanuts, popular in North America, the Netherlands, the United KingdomAustralia and parts of Asia, particularly the Philippines and Indonesia. However, what many people don’t know is that the highly rich in calories peanut butter can be used as a vital ingredient for artificial making of one of the most expensive precious gems in the world – the diamond.

According to Malcolm McMahon, a professor at Edinburgh University, he and his team are able to make artificial diamonds from cheaper sources, such as carbon containing materials, which include peanut butter. Exposing the butter to extreme conditions and squeezing the carbon is the key to changing the butter into something much more valuable.
The extreme conditions in which the diamond is formed require the exposure of carbon materials to extremely high or low temperatures. Squeezing the peanut butter between the tips of two diamond pieces is also doing the trick for professor McMahon’s team.
