England. Not only a place of fish and chips and Mary Poppins references. The little island which was once one of the biggest empires the world has ever seen, is a beautiful little place- even when the weather isn't working in your favor..

But do you know what the biggest city in England is? If your answer is London... you are wrong. The city of London is actually only 1.12 square miles big. It only boasts only 7000 residents! You see, the actual city limits remain unchanged from Roman times in 47AD. The district is known as "The city" to locals, and is the financial district of the country. Over 300,000 people commute here every single day.

The city of Greater London is the biggest city in England though- with over 7 million people in it.
