"Ugly" laws were in place until ....

Up until the 1970's ugly laws still existed in the USA. This is pretty infuriating to many people- because who is the judge of beauty? Well apparently The US government and business owners. Discrimination laws were yet to be in place, and if a business owner thought you had been beaten with the ugly stick, then it is time for you to find a new place to go.. This went for hunchbacks, blind people, cripples, mentally handicapped, etc.
