Eating less calories will make you live longer!
New studies show that a giant part of living longer comes from what you eat and how much of it you are consuming! This might sound like common sense to a lot of you, but calorie intake is a very important thing to keep track of..
Less calories mean more bacteria (the good kind) get to thrive. The study was done at shanghai university on mice. the mice were separated, and half were given fatty foods- where as the other half ate less. The mice that ate less live longer. It is still unknown the direct effect of these bacteria, and more work needs to be done to figure it all out- but we are stepping in the right direction.
