A baby elephant will suck the tip of his trunk like a baby

Babies of all sort are absolutely adorable- but this fact about elephants is the cutest. The elephant's trunk is like a human's hand, and on the tip is divided into two finger like bits. They use their trunks for everything; eating, brushing things off- even lifting their babies over obstacles! 

The point is, elephants, when they are first born and developing will suck on the tip of their trunk like a baby sucking on his thumb, for comfort..

Elephants are an endangered species which are extremely intelligent. Elephants will flirt, argue, and even show affection to one another..
