A picture taken at the re-opening of the South Forks Bridge in Canada in 1941 shows a man who looks nothing like the crown he is standing among. He is wearing modern clothes – a t-shirt and a sweater – and a pair of sunglasses, none of which are typical for the time the photo was taken. The image has been displayed in a Canadian virtual museum.
The assumption that the person was a ‘time travelling hipster’ is widely spread. There were claims that the type of sunglasses he is wearing on the photo were first introduced in the 1920s and that his emblem sweater is actually a sports one, also popular at the time.
However, experts have proved that the man was actually added to the picture which disqualifies it as an actual evidence of  ’time travelling’.
