Did you know that in 1964, a man photographing his daughter in a marsh captured what appears to be….

The photo became known as “The Solway Spaceman” referring to the Solway Firth in Cumbria, England where it was taken in 1964. Jim Templeton, the man who took it, was a firefighter, a photographer and a local historian who was taking pictures with his wife and daughter that day. He claimed there was no one else besides them in the marsh and was really shocked to discover the image of what resembles an astronaut after the photos got processed by a chemist. The image got extremely popular back in the 1960s and gained interest of scientists of all fields, especially ufologists. So far, there haven’t been a legitimate proof whether the photo was real or not.
