Did you know that the true origins of the ice cream cones are still a mystery even nowadays? According to a popular theory, they were invented at the 1904 World's Fair. However, ice cream cones have been mentioned even in Mrs. Marshall's Cookbook from 1888. But she's also not the inventor because it's believed that the idea behind the ice cream cones has been around even before the late 1880s. In other words, even nowadays nobody really knows who initially came up with the idea of serving ice cream in cones.
