Did you know that tuna is toxic to cats? Wait, what?
That’s right – tuna is indeed bad for your kitty-cat! The fish contains
excessive amounts of Mercury and as you probably know, there’s this whole nasty
thing called mercury poisoning. The toxicity levels of mercury for cats are
significantly lower than the ones for humans. So, even if a particular amount
of tuna is considered not a risk to humans, it could actually pose a lethal
threat to cats.
