A dashcam is just as the title says, a camera that sits on your dashboard in your car. The awesome thing about dashcams is they really show you how much crazy happens every day. The country that tends to have the best dashcam videos in my expertise is Russia. The gif below shows the meteor hitting russia earlier this year. This video was shown on news channels world wide.
But the reason why the dashcams are so popular is kind of sad. They have a very popular insurance scam in Russia where a pedestrian will get hit by a car on purpose in order to collect money from the driver. The Gif below shows a person running at the car, and slam into it. Luckily this driver will be able to show police this video!!
