Midget wrestling!!
"Dwarfs" or "little people" is the term they prefer, but most people call them midgets. Slightly derogatory- and I apologize, however in this article we mean absolutely no offense.
The reason why we give you this warning is because the topic at hand is "Midget wrestling," a form of wrestling that got popularized by WWF's "Wrestlemania III." It was actually started way back in the 50's and 60's when a few little people known as Fuzzy Cupid, Little beaver, and Lord Littlebrook. They toured North America, and they did a fine job of drawing attention. Sky Low Low was the first company to hold the National Wrestling Alliance Midget Championship- which drew people from all over the world including Little Tokyo.
The LPA (Little People of America) have criticized the event, they say it reinforces stereotypes, but that doesn't stop the event from happening all over the world until today.
