The 7 worst things to have for breakfast..
7. Bacon, ham, and sausage are number 7 on this list. Processed foods contain nitrates which can cause colorectal cancer.
6. Stay away from sugary cereals unless you want to start your morning by getting a buzz on all of that sugar- and then crashing earlier in your day.
5. Packaged Pancakes with artificial maple syrup are no no's. If you haven't before- try making real pancakes; they are delicious, and easy. Artificial syrups are high in fructose corn syrup which is very unhealthy.
4. It doesn't take a scientist to figure out that microwavable breakfast sandwiches are not good for you. Packed with Sodium and preservatives.
3. Light yoghurts. This one might be a surprise to some people, but they are packed with chemicals like sweeteners and preservatives. I know Key Lime yoghurt sounds delicious, but you are better off going for the Low fat yoghurt option.
2. Toaster pastries or doughnuts are sadly on this list. These are some of my favourite things. Either way, for reasons that are clear- these are unhealthy options.
1. And number 1 on this list is Muffins. But how? They are extremely dense and packed with stuff your body doesn't need. Flour, oil, butter.. The list goes on.
