Most badass soldier of all time..

Who are the Gurkhas? They are a Nepali branch of the United Kingdom's armed forces, trained by the british. They have been fighting alongside each other for over 200 years.

This is also true for the war against the Taliban, and there is one Gurkha who can be called the most badass soldier in the conflict. Sergeant Dipprasad Pun was guarding a sentry point all by himself when he heard what he thought was a cow or a donkey near by. He went to investigate, and saw 2 taliban militants planting a bomb, he immediately started firing, which led to over 30 Taliban fighters coming in his direction. He fought wave after wave using his rifle, grenades, and a grenade launcher. after he had used all of his ammunition, he tried to use a sandbag to his defense, and actually picked up a machine gun tripod and bludgeoned someone to death with it.

He says at first he was scared, but after he started firing- all he could think was "if they are going to kill me, i'm taking a few with me.." He frantically called for backup, but when it finally came- it was way after the fact. His commander patted him on the back and said well done.. He was awarded with the Conspicuous Gallantry cross, the second highest award you can get on the battle field. God knows what you have to do to be awarded the highest medal.

I do not usually commend war, but this was pretty cool.
