Mary Toft- the lady who gave birth to rabbits..

Mary Toft was an average lady except for her obsession with rabbits. In 1726 she had a miscarriage, and was embarrassed so she convinced everyone she was actually giving birth to rabbits. This was weird, but it was the 1700's and medicine was not what it is today. She faked a bump and labor pains. Investigators only got involved when she started to push animal parts out of her Vagina. It was discovered that a local butcher was giving her parts of animals- and not only rabbit, there were cats, and pig parts- to shove up herself to pass it out in front of others.
