A marriage with wtf written all over it...

This is a first. A person who was sentenced to 53 years to life in jail for murder, got married immediately after his sentencing.

As high school lovers, they broke up when she got pregnant at the age of 16. Being model citizens, they lost contact- but soon after she found him and informed him that he was the father and his son wanted to make contact with him. He was already on trial for a fight where he killed a man (His attorney says it was in self defense, but the court saw it differently).

After his sentencing was read out, the victim's family was escorted out of the court room on their day of sadness- so the defendant could have his party! The two were married, the bride wore white, and the groom wore chains..

The very same judge that sentenced him, also married him to his new wife! After this, the judge disappeared to her chambers, where she came back with two slices of cake which were on paper plates with plastic forks. She claimed to have baked it her self.
